History of slaves in Martinique

First:The ARAWAKS:who was the paeceful people,are the first inhabitants of islands,they live on fishing and on fruits.

In 1814,Martinique becomes definitively French,the president of France was Napoleon Bonaparte(The emperor)

The Abolition of the slavery in Martiniqur decred on May 22 1848 by Victor Schoelcher after uprising of the slaves.

The end
