The everyday life of slaves

The living conditions of slaves were very hard. Effectively, the Black Code gave them and the masters the laws on slaves' obligations and prohibitions. for eveydays at the plantations. 1.Slaves were forbidden to own anything. 2.Slaves couldn't sell or buy anything, except if they were allowed to do it by the master. 3.It was likely to slaves were beaten. 4.Slaves had to work during 10 to 12 hours in a day. 5.It was compulsory for the slaves to work at the most. 6.Slaves were to be baptised and educated as Catholics. 7.It was forbidden for the masters to make slaves to work at the saints days. 8.A slaves' children had to be slave too.
