Correction du travail maison de Compréhension de

Correction du travail maison de Compréhension de l'écrit (interaction orale et trace écrite au tableau):

1- introduction "the text is an extract from "Uncle Tom's Cabin", a novel by Harriet Beacher Stowe published in 1852. The text is entitled "selling negroes", "men for sale" and it deals with a slave auction. The scene takes place in the South of the United States, around the steps of a court house, just before a public  slave auction at 11 o'clock in the morning.

2- Comprehension globale (who , when, where ,what, etc.) : Grille des personnages (Blacks Vs Whites)

3- Comprehension détaillée: Hagar's fears (travail de reformulation)

"Hagar holds on to her son albert because she is afraid of being separated from her son Albert= she fears she might be separated from her son."

"To reassure Hagar, the old man tells her they will be sold in a lot together = Not to worry her, the old man says they will be sold in a lot together" = Not to worry her, the old man says:"You will be sold in a lot together""

A faire: revoir l'ensemble du travail autour du "slavery project" en vue de l'évaluation de fin de séquence.
